Something that isn't that well understood is that the Credit Union invests in leader education and development, not just for our benefit but also for the benefit of our community. A fundamental value of the co-operative system is to share that leadership knowledge and wisdom with the community for the benefit of all residents.

Community support and involvement is at the heart of all we do at Sunshine Coast Credit Union. Not only are we committed to the financial well-being of our members but we're also fiercely committed to our Coast community. We provide donations and sponsorship funding for a variety of community organizations and events throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Because we're a member owned organization, we believe in giving and sharing in the profits. Over $700,000 in patronage refunds and dividends were paid to members in 2010 and $65,000 in sponsorships were provided to over 62 community organizations.
